Spire Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Nurse to become part of our exceptional Theatre Team on a bank/temporary basis, focusing on Scrub roles. This position offers a unique chance to enhance your career within one of the leading private healthcare providers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in scrubbing for a variety of Consultant-led surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, gynaecology, and ENT.
  • Evaluate patients' health and well-being across a diverse and dynamic caseload.
  • Formulate tailored care plans that reflect the patient's needs, considering the care pathway, perioperative risks, and overall well-being.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Must be a qualified ODP or Scrub Nurse.
  • Hold an NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
  • Previous experience in orthopaedics is highly advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of scrub experience is required.
  • Experience in a surgical or theatre environment is essential.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated and thrive in a challenging yet rewarding atmosphere.
