Job Description

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join their esteemed facility. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for caring for patients undergoing surgical procedures, providing planned care during the perioperative stage, and assisting in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Provide exemplary planned care during the perioperative stage.
  • Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.
  • Act as a Scrub Practitioner across various clinical specialities.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse, without restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different specialities on a rotational basis.
