Blackfield Associates is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to oversee the technical operations of our manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, providing technical expertise and leadership to the team, and ensuring regulatory standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical operations across multiple manufacturing buildings, including daily manufacturing processes and implementing improvements.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of product quality.
- Lead technical projects focused on process improvements and equipment upgrades, and train and develop technical staff.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies, analyze production data and market trends, and assist with budgets and financial planning.
- Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, including equipment suppliers and negotiate contracts for materials and services.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical management role, preferably in the food or FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and implement process improvements.
- Effective communication and influential skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
