About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Night Manager to join our team at Bloc Hotel Gatwick. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, maintaining the highest levels of customer service, and leading a team of night staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the hotel is staffed in accordance with business needs and maintain the highest levels of team training, auditing, and customer service.
  • Be the main point of contact for guests, dealing with complaints and grievances, and informing the Reception Manager of actions taken.
  • Oversee the completion of the night auditing process, upholding the highest level of attention to detail.
  • Balance and bank cash in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and generate reports for the Cluster General Manager, Reception Manager, and other senior members of the Bloc Team.
  • Maintain the security of the hotel during the night and be responsible for the safety of hotel guests.
  • Manage and maintain administration of all reservations during the night shift.
  • Lead the night team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular job chats for the night team and lead in the on-going recruitment, training, and development of the night team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing night role.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Dedicated to detail with an ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Inclusive and collaborative, sharing responsibility and accountability for success.
