Role Objective
Your primary responsibility will be to recover outstanding balances on customer accounts while adhering to the existing regulatory framework. This will involve engaging with customers and authorized representatives regarding collection and recovery efforts on Motor Finance accounts, including identifying and assisting clients facing financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Approach customers with empathy while asking questions to fully understand their situations Review accounts in default, confirm details, gather instructions for recovery, and decide on suitable actions Communicate with customers in default to establish feasible payment plans aligned with their financial capabilities Oversee judgment cases to ensure compliance with payment agreements Negotiate and subsequently track forbearance arrangements with clients Interpret customer instructions and act in accordance with departmental protocols Comply with established company regulations and legal standards such as FCA, DPA, CONC, MCOB, etc. Understand available forbearance options for customers and collaborate with them to clarify their long-term repayment intentions Organize, manage, and update information in relevant digital systems

Candidate Profile

Skills Required
Exceptional communication abilities Capacity to take initiative and collaborate effectively within a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail Eagerness to quickly learn new systems utilizing existing IT competencies Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain composure under pressure Experience Needed
Previous experience in collections is essential. Familiarity with motor finance is preferred.

Work Schedule
We advocate for flexibility in how and where our employees work to promote a healthier work-life balance. We encourage our team to establish a work routine that accommodates their needs, including working from the office once a week and from home when it is most convenient. Our operational hours are as follows: Monday to Friday, with varying hours, and Saturday mornings. We request that you work until the evening at least once a week and cover two Saturday shifts within an eight-week timeframe. If you believe you can collaborate with us to find a suitable work pattern while assisting us in managing customer needs during these hours, we welcome a discussion about your preferences during the interview process.
