We currently have an Account Manager vacancy in our Income Collection Team.
The position is for someone to work Part Time (18.5 hours) on rent arrears cases.
This role will be based at our head office in North Solihull.
The successful candidate will work as part of a wider Income Collection Team responsible for managing housing accounts.
The ideal candidate will be versatile and have a good understanding and work experience of taking cases through the legal stages of 'Rent Arrears' procedures, from a "Notice of Seeking Possession" through the Court process, including court representation, applications for warrants and attending evictions.
Other requirements will include, visiting tenants & leaseholders in their homes, liaising with Support Agencies, DWP, Council, and our internal Money Advice Team, as well as a number of internal teams at Solihull Community Housing.
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Welfare reforms including Universal Credit and will be able to advise tenants of their entitlement to ensure housing costs are paid as part of a claim.
This role requires patch based working with an Income officer responsible for dealing with cases during the earlier recovery stages.
