About the Position:

As an IT Support and Security Operations Specialist, you will be an essential part of a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Desk team, serving as the primary point of contact for our colleagues. Your role will be crucial in delivering IT assistance and addressing property-related concerns throughout the organization, resolving issues as they arise or directing them to the appropriate teams when necessary. Each day will present new challenges as your responsibilities will encompass (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing our surveillance systems and responding to security requests
  • Managing IT inquiries from colleagues via phone and email, documenting, prioritizing, and advancing them to resolution
  • Coordinating ongoing incidents, ensuring effective and efficient responses by liaising with relevant teams
  • Handling sensitive calls from colleagues and customers
  • Maintaining the security of our premises by monitoring and responding to alarms, collaborating with security firms, law enforcement, and keyholders as needed

Our Service Desk support team operates on a 12-week shift rotation, and for this position, your shifts will be scheduled from 10 PM to 6 AM. A shift premium will be provided for these hours.

About You:

We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable, and personable individual to join our diligent Service Desk team. If you possess prior experience in a similar IT role, that would be excellent; however, we also welcome candidates without experience who demonstrate strong IT, communication, and customer service skills. You should exhibit:

  • Exceptional communication abilities to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • An organized and systematic approach to your tasks, capable of prioritizing a diverse workload
  • A naturally meticulous demeanor with the capacity to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • The ability to work independently using your initiative, as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team
  • A passion for learning and a commitment to keeping your IT knowledge current while encouraging your colleagues to do the same

Important Note: Candidates must be over 18 years old to qualify for the necessary licensing.
