The Opportunity:

Nigel Wright Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth of our fast-paced SaaS business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and dynamic sales professional to excel in a solution-based sales environment with a lucrative bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a range of proactive business development activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, demonstrations, quotations, follow-ups, and closing.
  • Self-source sales leads for new business and follow up on leads generated internally to ensure new sales targets and other KPIs are achieved.
  • Fully understand customer needs, interpret their requirements, and effectively relate to our company's portfolio.
  • Attend industry-relevant events to establish relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline to deliver sustained high levels of new sales.
  • Secure appointments with customers and prospects and arrange face-to-face sales meetings where appropriate.
  • Provide effective reporting and forecasting on the status of leads.
  • Exhibit a track record of exceeding B2B sales targets.
  • Possess B2B solution-based sales experience, with tech/software sales being advantageous.
  • Other B2B solution sales backgrounds will be considered if the dynamic, proactive personality/culture fit is present.
  • Experience selling into manufacturers would be useful.
  • Hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
