Position Overview: The role is essential within the Commercial Lines division, collaborating closely with Advisors, Directors of Risk Management, Client Service Specialists, and other agency personnel to ensure exceptional service delivery to our commercial clientele. This position is focused on fostering professional relationships with clients, insurance providers, and agency staff to uphold account management and cultivate a positive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately maintain client records in the Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication in line with company workflows and best practices.
  • Draft professional business communications through various channels.
  • Handle accounting-related tasks, including invoicing and premium allocation, as required.
  • Oversee claims in accordance with agency protocols, ensuring timely communication of claims information and providing support to clients.
  • Engage effectively with colleagues, offering information and assistance to achieve company objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management as needed.
  • Support team members in addressing client inquiries and processing tasks.
  • Manage daily operations of client accounts, including policy reviews, updates, contract assessments for certificate processing, renewal documentation preparation, and insurance program negotiations.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Advise clients on coverage options and risks, recommending additional coverage as necessary.
  • Proactively seek referrals from existing clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with insurance partners, understanding their requirements and attributes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm and its processes, bringing relevant issues to the attention of leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Exhibit strong presentation skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software as needed.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the firm's core values and corporate culture.

Education & Experience:

  • Maintain necessary state insurance licenses as required by regulatory authorities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Commercial Account Manager capacity.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
