Job Summary:

The Senior Client Manager, Commercial Risk Specialist will play a key role in our client services team, working closely with clients to understand their unique risk management needs and develop tailored solutions to mitigate those risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination of carrier relationships on behalf of the company, including developing and implementing risk management strategies for large accounts.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other industry partners.
  • Perform marketing activities for large accounts, including developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare risk assessments and develop recommendations for clients and prospects.
  • Coordinate service delivery, including developing initial placement and renewal strategies.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the firm's processes and procedures, and implement changes as needed.
  • Serve as a mentor to new colleagues, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites.
  • Be able to analyze complex risk exposures and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects.
  • Exhibit excellent client service and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other software programs as needed.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree and either have or be working towards a professional insurance designation.
  • Have at least five years of experience in account management and demonstrated proficiency in risk management.
  • Be licensed to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm operates.
  • Demonstrate effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications.
  • Demonstrate the organization's core values and exude behavior that is aligned with corporate culture.

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills. Some travel may be required.
