Position Overview: The role of the Client Manager in Commercial Risk is crucial to the success of the Commercial Lines team. This position involves collaborating with Advisors, Directors of Risk Management, Client Service Specialists, and other agency personnel to ensure exceptional service delivery to our commercial clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain client records within the Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication in line with company workflows and best practices.
- Draft professional correspondence through various channels, including letters and emails.
- Perform essential accounting functions such as invoicing and premium allocation as required.
- Oversee claims in accordance with agency protocols, providing timely updates and guidance to clients.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues, fostering a cooperative environment.
- Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management as needed.
- Support team members in addressing client inquiries and processing tasks efficiently.
- Manage daily operations of client accounts, including policy reviews, updates, contract assessments, and preparation of renewal documents.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
- Advise clients on coverage options and recommend additional insurance solutions as necessary.
- Proactively seek referrals from existing clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance company partners, understanding their requirements and attributes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the firm and communicate issues to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning additional software as needed.
- Exhibit the core values of the firm, demonstrating alignment with the corporate culture.
Education and Experience:
- Possess or be willing to obtain necessary state insurance licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Commercial Account Manager role.
Additional Information:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
