Job Summary

Baldwin Risk Partners is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in our Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication with all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurance companies, and agency personnel to promote a positive working environment and drive business growth.
  • Perform accounting and math-related functions, including invoicing, premium allocation, and claims management, in accordance with company procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor and communicate claims information to relevant parties, providing guidance and assistance to clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attend client meetings and provide support to Advisors and Directors as required.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries and processing work, as needed.
  • Manage client accounts, including policy review, changes, and updates, contract review, and certificate processing.
  • Counsel and advise clients on coverage and exposure, recommending and placing additional coverage as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes, bringing issues and discrepancies to the attention of leadership.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate effective presentation skills through verbal and written communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the firm's core values and corporate culture.
  • Obtain and maintain state insurance licenses, as required by the State Department of Insurance.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Manager role.
