Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Risk Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our client experience team, ensuring the delivery of world-class service to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance and risk management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the client experience team to deliver exceptional service to clients
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the client experience
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high client retention
  • Collaborate with the managing director and partners to execute client segmentation strategies
  • Lead service team integration projects and manage insurance company partner relationships
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team colleagues to build bench strength
  • Perform annual performance reviews and provide feedback to team colleagues

Requirements:

  • 10 years of commercial insurance experience required
  • 5 years of experience in supporting clients in the oil and gas, renewable energy, and natural resources industries preferred
  • Certification(s): None required; None preferred
  • License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High level of technical insurance knowledge
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage performance and adhere to established workflows and processes
  • Organized and able to develop effective strategies and tactics
