About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business and Community Development Manager to join our team at Hoot Credit Union Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and strengthening our connection with the community.

In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Executive to identify new opportunities, develop partnerships, and implement strategies that expand our membership and enhance our services. You will be responsible for leading proactive approaches to new business generation, building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community organizations, and promoting the benefits of payroll deduction schemes and encouraging payroll savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase membership and enhance services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community organizations to drive business growth and community engagement.
  • Promote the benefits of payroll deduction schemes and encourage payroll savings to increase membership and revenue.
  • Enhance the credit union's profile through events, partnerships, and community activities to increase visibility and credibility.

  • Has a strong background in business development, partnership building, and community outreach.
  • Is a skilled communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Has experience in relationship building and external representation, with a proven track record of success.
