About the Role:

We are seeking a Business and Community Growth Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and strengthening our connection with the community. You will work closely with our Chief Executive to identify new opportunities, develop partnerships, and implement strategies that expand our membership and enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Proactive Approaches: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community organisations to enhance our services and expand our membership.
  • Promote Payroll Deduction Schemes: Promote the benefits of payroll deduction schemes and encourage payroll savings among our members.
  • Enhance Credit Union Profile: Enhance our credit union's profile through events, partnerships, and community activities to increase our visibility and reach.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively engage with our members, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building Experience: Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community organisations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to drive growth and expansion.
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to meet deadlines to ensure the success of our projects.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union Development: Understanding of credit union development and knowledge of relevant regulatory issues to ensure compliance and success.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to treating customers fairly and delivering excellent service to our members.
