Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to be part of a Locality Team dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families.
Team Dynamics
The team operates on a strength-based model, focusing on the unique needs of young individuals and their families. The locality team was established to foster close connections with community resources and local services, ensuring a comprehensive support system.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve guiding children and young people through various processes, including assessments, outcome-driven planning, and effective interventions. Collaboration with families and multi-agency partners is essential to address both immediate concerns and deeper issues.
Qualifications Required
A Social Work degree and at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in Family Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need are necessary. Prior experience in Front-Line Social Work is crucial, and proficiency in court proceedings is required.
