Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to become a vital part of a Locality Team.

Team Dynamics

You will be part of a dedicated team that employs a strength-based methodology to effectively address the needs of children and their families. The locality team is designed to maintain close connections with community resources and local services, ensuring a comprehensive approach to support.

This position involves guiding children and young individuals through assessments, planning focused on outcomes, and implementing effective interventions. Collaboration with families and multi-agency partners is essential to tackle both immediate concerns and deeper issues.

Role Responsibilities

A Social Work degree is required, along with a minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience in Family Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need. Experience in Front-Line Social Work is crucial, and familiarity with court procedures is mandatory.
