The Role of a Social Worker - Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team. As a Child Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of alternative permanent carers for children, making recommendations on their suitability, and supervising and supporting carers providing connected persons placements.

With a strong focus on delivering exceptional social work, you will work closely with frontline Social Workers to develop and implement care plans that prioritize the best interests of children and their families.

As a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in child protection, you will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements
  1. Qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in child protection
  2. Excellent analytical and communication skills
  3. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  4. Strong focus on delivering exceptional social work
  5. Knowledge of child development, risk management, and care planning
