Job Title: Qualified Adults Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Adults Social Worker to join our Adult Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for screening incoming safeguarding referrals and case holding complex cases.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client, a leading provider of social care services, in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Qualified Adults Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Using your professional knowledge and experience to make full assessments of risks, protection, and social care needs.
  • Managing an agreed case load and using specialist communication skills to achieve optimum outcomes for service users.
  • Devise individual care plans, taking account of diversity and promoting dignity and empowerment.
  • Offering advice and support to unqualified staff and students to assist development.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with adults and families, including those from vulnerable groups.
  • Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approach.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant legislation and understanding of adult protection issues.
  • Ability to use excellent mediation and negotiation skills on behalf of service users.
  • Highly skilled at building meaningful relationships with clients to engage them in assessments and plans.
  • Committed to providing a high-quality service.
