Job Title: Senior Child and Family Social Worker

About the Role:
PPR Social Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our Childrens Service team in North East London. As a Senior Child and Family Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with complex cases of children in need of help and protection or looked after children and care-leavers. Your focus will be on safeguarding, building empathic relationships with children and their families, and facilitating meaningful and sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities:
• Use your skills, knowledge, and experience to make full assessments of risks, protection, and social care needs.
• Manage an agreed case load, working directly with children and their families to build relationships and achieve optimum outcomes.
• Devise individual care plans, taking account of diversity and promoting dignity and empowerment.

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experienced in working with children and families, including those from vulnerable groups.
• Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues.
• Excellent communication and mediation skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
• Committed to providing a high-quality service and striving for continuous improvement to provide the best outcomes for children.
