Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives and wants to join an organization committed to outstanding social work practice. As a Children's Social Worker and Senior Social Care Specialist, you will be responsible for working with children, young people, and their families to create change through co-produced assessments, family-led plans, and community-based services.



About the Role

The Brief Intervention Service works with children, young people, and their families for up to six months. Our brief interventions support children, young people, and their families to create change – through co-produced child and family assessments, family-led plans, Family Space Clinics, and a range of community-based services.



What We Offer

You will be part of a strong leadership team and benefit from small teams, regular supervision, and a manageable caseload that allows you to build relationships and focus on supporting children and families. You will also have access to a range of specialist workers, including Domestic Abuse Specialist Social Workers, Housing Specialists, SEN Social Workers, Substance Misuse Workers, NRPF Social Workers, Practice Specialist Social Workers, and Family Therapists.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Social Worker with experience in working with children and families. You must be passionate about delivering high-quality, relationship-based care and committed to ongoing professional development. A strong understanding of the importance of partnership working and the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies is essential.
