Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to become part of a Locality Team dedicated to supporting families and children.

Important: Only qualified social workers registered with Social Work England should consider this opportunity.

Team Dynamics

You will be part of a team that employs a strength-based methodology, focusing on the unique needs of children and their families. The locality team is designed to maintain close connections with community resources and local services, ensuring a comprehensive approach to child welfare.

This position involves guiding children and young people through assessments, developing outcome-oriented plans, and implementing effective interventions. Collaboration with families and multi-agency partners is essential to address both immediate concerns and deeper issues.

Role Responsibilities

A Social Work degree and at least two years of post-qualifying experience in Family Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need are required. Previous experience in Front-Line Social Work is crucial, and proficiency in court proceedings is mandatory.
