Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to become part of a Locality Team dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children and their families.
Team Dynamics
The team operates from a strength-based perspective, focusing on the unique needs of young individuals and their families. The locality team is designed to closely collaborate with community resources and local services, ensuring a comprehensive approach to child welfare.
Role Responsibilities
This position involves assisting children and young individuals through evaluations, outcome-oriented planning, and effective interventions. You will engage collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary partners to address both immediate concerns and deeper issues.
Qualifications Required
A Social Work degree is essential, along with a minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience in Family Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need. Experience in Front-Line Social Work is crucial, and proficiency in court proceedings is mandatory.
