Position Overview

The CAMHS Referral Coordination Specialist will oversee the operational aspects and management of the CAMHS Front Door referrals, serving as the initial point of contact for all CAMHS referrals within the designated area. This role is pivotal in delivering a responsive and effective administrative service tailored to the needs of the CAMHS Team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing thorough and confidential administrative assistance to ensure the seamless operation of workstreams from initial referral to discharge. Additionally, this position will involve managing the administrative processes related to the handling of referrals within the CAMHS framework.

About NELFT

Joining NELFT NELFT places significant emphasis on the proper onboarding and integration of new employees into the organization. All new hires will participate in a structured induction program that spans up to two weeks, encompassing mandatory training, systems training, and the provision of necessary equipment. During this process, new employees will have the opportunity to engage with the executive team, senior management, and attend various sessions focused on engagement, health, and wellbeing.

Probationary Period This position is subject to a probationary period, with internal candidates exempt unless they are currently undergoing a probationary period or are bank staff members.

High Cost Area Supplement This role is eligible for a High Cost Area Supplement, amounting to 15% of the base salary, with a minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum, pro rata.
