Supporter Care Coordinator

Location: Stepps, Glasgow

Salary: £21,964 - £23,561 per annum (pro rata)

Contract: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)

This role is crucial to our organization as we continue to grow and enhance our services. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supporter Care Coordinator who recognizes the significance of cultivating supporter relationships through exceptional stewardship. You will play a key role in supporting various teams within the organization and will need to possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supporter inquiries via face-to-face interactions, email, or telephone, delivering outstanding donor care through excellent communication with supporters, volunteers, and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of incoming correspondence, process donations, and accurately record gifts in our database in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that each supporter receives a personalized acknowledgment for their contributions, fostering and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Assist with donor events and fundraising initiatives by providing necessary materials to support successful fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with a team of office volunteers, offering training and daily support to ensure they deliver high-quality service and feel appreciated.
  • Work alongside external volunteers to coordinate coverage for presentations, cheque handovers, and cash collection activities.

About You

  • You will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. A commitment to supporting a strong team of volunteers is essential. You should demonstrate initiative, prioritize effectively, maintain a high level of accuracy, act with integrity, and take accountability for your actions and decisions.

You will also have:

  • An HNC level qualification or equivalent in Administration or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an office or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Access to a vehicle and a full driving license.
