MWH Treatment is seeking to enhance their SHEQ team with an Environmental Advisor for their ESD joint venture framework. Based in the Stepps office, you will travel throughout the Central Belt region to support and assist in the delivery of project environmental objectives and targets.

You will report directly to the Head of Health and Safety and be responsible for:

  • Conducting monthly SSERs on projects in line with the SSER Schedule, focusing on environmental aspects and parent company requirements.

  • Carrying out advisory visits on projects to provide support and assistance.

  • Assisting and reviewing outputs from initial site screening assessments with design and prepare teams.

  • Leading design-based environmental audits on projects within the prepare and design phase.

  • Reviewing and providing assistance to site teams in completing environmental license applications and responding to planning conditions.

  • Managing liaison with client's regional environmental advisors.

  • Leading the delivery of ESD Environmental training, including BMS, as required.

  • Participating in client-initiated initiatives, working groups, and forums as needed.
