About the Role:

Affinity Water is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Engineer to join our Investment Portfolio Management (IPM) team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of large-scale investment programmes and its deliverables to time, cost, benefits, and risks through clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement planning strategies to drive programme discussions with various stakeholders.
  • Manage and communicate schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert advice on planning software and project management best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and investment proposals.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 (Advanced Level).
  • Previous experience in Cost, Planning, and Risk management environments.
  • Experience in implementing planning principles within the project management community.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
