Job Title: Transformation Unit Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our research portfolio.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients on clinical trials, working closely with the research team and multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of practice in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support trials from set up to close, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records of data derived from research studies.
  • Recruit, educate, and monitor research participants, collecting and documenting accurate data.
  • Work closely with principal investigators and members of the multidisciplinary team to support patients participating in clinical trials.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of data derived from research studies, ensuring the well-being of patients and adherence to ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proven recent experience of coordinating/supporting complex research studies and using the study intensity tool to manage workload.
  • Excellent range of clinical skills and significant knowledge and experience of supporting clinical research in a hospital setting.
  • Current GCP training and experience in managing complex or commercial trials.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and transferable clinical skills such as venepuncture, ECG, etc.
