Job Advert Role Description

Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford is situated in the vibrant heart of Oxford, providing accessible outpatient care for various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, stress-related issues, eating disorders, and substance dependencies, along with a specialized service for young individuals.

Our facility occupies the top floor of a spacious and well-lit building, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for all our clients. With flexible evening and weekend slots available, we cater to even the busiest individuals seeking essential mental health support.

We are currently in search of qualified family counselors (working with both CAMHS and adults) to join our team on a sessional basis.

Candidates must hold accreditation from a recognized professional body and possess experience in both individual and family/group therapy.

Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder and experience working with children and families post-diagnosis is highly advantageous.

Our therapeutic team is dedicated to delivering top-notch therapy in both individual and family/group settings. As part of our outpatient service, the selected candidate will collaborate with our team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Therapists. A diverse day of family and individual sessions, along with assessments and related clinical documentation, is to be anticipated.

Comprehensive training on our systems and protocols will be provided.

Candidates should have experience in outpatient mental health services.

Ideally, they will be capable of working with both young people and adults.

Sessions can be conducted flexibly, including evenings, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance. Due to client needs, candidates will be required to spend at least 50% of their time at our Oxford site to facilitate in-person sessions.

Given the site's location within a shopping center and the necessity for staff to travel or utilize public transport, we offer a monthly stipend to assist with travel expenses.
