Lancashire County Council plays a crucial role in providing essential residential and day care services to the community, ensuring a safe and secure environment that promotes independence for older individuals while catering to diverse care requirements. The Facilities Management team is dedicated to maintaining cleanliness in all residential care facilities and day centres, which is vital for the well-being of all users.

This role is part-time, offering an hourly wage of £12.00, along with a generous fuel allowance.

The position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended). Successful candidates will be required to apply for a 'disclosure' through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Further details can be found in the recruitment process section.

Candidates must provide a vehicle for job-related duties and must have business use insurance. However, considerations may be made for applicants unable to drive due to a disability.
