We are seeking a driven and experienced Cluster Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and performance for our designated region. This role demands a deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry's financial landscape, encompassing product costing, inventory management, pricing strategies, and market trends. As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will collaborate with diverse departments to drive financial success, optimize profitability, and support strategic decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overarching business objectives.
    • Spearhead the long-term and annual budgeting processes, including setting regional financial targets, preparing integrated business plans, and meticulously monitoring financial performance.
    • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team to guide informed business decisions.
  • Business Partnership & Support:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to operational teams, offering expert financial guidance and support for new product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to develop and evaluate compelling business cases for strategic projects.
    • Provide valuable support during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration planning.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Proactively identify and manage financial risks, encompassing currency fluctuations, credit risks, and operational vulnerabilities.
    • Ensure unwavering compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Maintain effective communication with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and in-depth analyses to provide comprehensive financial information to key stakeholders.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze financial performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential areas of concern.
