Sales Support Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to join our team at Blue Octopus. As a Sales Support Coordinator, you will provide administrative assistance to our Sales Account Managers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to Sales Account Managers, including managing sales calls, emails, and company databases.
  • Tender Response Coordination: Coordinate tender responses internally, working closely with Account Managers to meet deadlines.
  • Document Management: Create, update, and store documents, including NDA, PQQ, tender, and interview documentation.
  • Presentation Creation: Develop and manage sales teams' presentations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, editing as necessary to ensure up-to-date information.
  • Client Entertainment: Assist with coordinating and sourcing client entertainment and events.
  • Project Information: Liaise with and distribute project-related information to all levels of the project team and external parties.
  • Meeting Attendance: Attend sales meetings as required.
  • CPD Bookings: Manage CPD bookings.
  • Sales Research: Conduct sales research from LinkedIn, industry press, and online posts, feeding potential leads to sales teams.
  • Sample Requests: Handle sample requests in conjunction with the factory.
  • Project Drawings: Maintain a file of drawings from recently completed projects.
  • Reception Cover: Provide reception cover in the absence of the receptionist.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience with CRM systems, and proficiency in producing reports and using Excel. Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher, are essential. AutoCAD experience is an advantage but not required.
