Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner - People Focused

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at MaxAd Fixed Fee Recruitment. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a robust, people-focused HR strategy that aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, absence, probation, disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
  • Talent Management: Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, talent mapping, and promotion.
  • Learning and Development: Identify areas for learning and development, and provide training and coaching to support employee growth.
  • Pay and Benefits: Work with leaders to ensure pay and benefits align with the market and are applied consistently across the organization.
  • Change Management: Provide guidance on the people implications of change, ensuring change is well-managed, carried out legally, and communicated effectively.
  • Payroll: Oversee and review monthly/weekly payroll.
  • Well-being and Engagement: Develop and implement well-being, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Occupational Health: Manage all occupational health referrals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a broad, generalist, multi-site role in a similar sector, with a strong focus on people management.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Previous experience in recruitment and selection, with a strong understanding of employment law.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand business needs and develop solutions.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD level 5 or 7 (desirable but not essential).
