We are seeking a dedicated and passionate General Practitioner to become a vital part of our welcoming and collaborative healthcare team. This role offers a structured workload (16 patient consultations per session) along with a highly attractive remuneration package (£13,000 - £14,000 per session), inclusive of medical indemnity coverage, NHS pension scheme, six weeks of annual leave, and one week of study leave on a pro-rata basis. The number of sessions is flexible and can be discussed.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the clinical team to provide high-quality care, treatment, and guidance to our patients through various consultation methods, including face-to-face, telephone, video, and online platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting surgeries, telephone, video, and online consultations
  • Referring patients to external organizations when clinically necessary
  • Managing correspondence and clinical letters
  • Reviewing and acting upon test results
  • Prescribing medications in line with patient needs and established guidelines
  • Maintaining precise clinical records in accordance with best practices
  • Completing reports and medical assessments
  • Engaging in QOF/local contract work as required
  • No extended hours commitment, though opportunities are available if desired

Sessions will consist of a fixed workload, with minimal administrative duties and home visits.

Job Requirements

Position: Salaried General Practitioner

Sessions: 2-4 sessions

The post-holder will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload and addressing a wide array of health needs within a primary care environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patient population.
