Job Overview:

As a Deputy Head Housekeeper at HotelCare, you will utilize your management experience and commitment to excellence to assist the Head Housekeeper in efficiently overseeing a dynamic housekeeping department and improving team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in managing a busy housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
  • Maintain the standards set by HotelCare and our clients at all times, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and health and safety policies.
  • Meet daily targets and contribute to the commercial success of the hotel.
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head Housekeeper to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in housekeeping operations, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the success of the hotel.
