Job Overview

A proactive approach is essential, collaborating closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Fleet and Equipment to ensure that performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, while maintaining operational excellence. The role also focuses on innovating work practices and engaging in strategic planning for the enhancement of Fleet services.

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will undertake a diverse range of responsibilities that will involve interaction with multiple stakeholders. A prominent presence at all Service Centres within the designated area is expected, providing support to all personnel within the workshop environment.

Regular meetings to review performance and budget, along with conducting Health and Safety assessments, will be part of your duties. There are numerous opportunities to engage in various projects within the Fleet Department, including the planning, development, and design of new vehicles and equipment.

Most importantly, you will be tasked with leading and motivating teams, fostering a positive culture that reflects the Trust's values and behaviors.

You may also be required to conduct investigations and generate reports and root cause analyses that encompass complex technical information across various scenarios and Fleet and Equipment services. The ability to troubleshoot and seek solutions to intricate issues is crucial.

The expectation is for you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously refine and enhance productive and efficient operational methods that contribute to departmental growth.

You will assist the Head and Deputy Head of Fleet & Equipment with a variety of high-level dynamic tasks, ensuring that each day presents new challenges and opportunities.
