About the Position

Become a vital member of our team as a Security Operations Supervisor and contribute significantly to the protection and safety of our premises. You will engage in a flexible shift rotation of 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, and 4 nights off, working 12-hour shifts that promote a healthy work-life balance. Typically, you will average 42 hours weekly, with the potential for additional hours during holiday coverage. Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit strong leadership by establishing and maintaining high standards of performance, conduct, and behavior.
  • Inspire and direct the team, setting clear ethical and moral benchmarks to ensure excellence.
  • Oversee team performance and development, including scheduling, managing absences, wage inquiries, conducting one-on-one meetings, updating training records, and performance management utilizing Power BI.
  • Administer daily security operations, ensuring effective deployment of security personnel across all positions to uphold site security while delivering top-notch customer service and professionalism.
  • Ensure all Security Officers are knowledgeable of and comply with security, health & safety, environmental, quality, and training protocols.
  • Act as the Incident Controller during emergencies, coordinating with the security team and emergency services, and conducting thorough investigations into risks and incidents with detailed reporting for management review.
  • Facilitate regular team briefings, refresher training, and security orientations for new staff, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the team remains informed and prepared.
  • Guarantee all protective security systems are operational, manage access control (including card issuance), and oversee the reporting and resolution of any system faults in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure all officers maintain the required uniform standards, contribute to the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assist with project management tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • SIA Licence
  • Minimum of 3 years of security experience
  • 2-3 years of supervisory or independent management experience
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in people management
  • Capability to support colleagues under pressure
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security operations and protocols
  • Adept at multitasking, planning, delegating, and prioritizing effectively.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
