About the Position

Become a vital member of our team as a Security Operations Supervisor and contribute significantly to the safety and protection of our premises. You will engage in a flexible shift schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, and 4 nights off, with 12-hour shifts that promote a healthy work-life balance. On average, your work hours will total 42 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during holiday coverage. Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit strong leadership by establishing and maintaining high standards of performance, conduct, and behavior.
  • Inspire and direct the team, setting clear ethical and moral benchmarks to ensure excellence.
  • Oversee the performance and growth of your team, including scheduling, managing holidays, addressing absences, handling wage inquiries, conducting one-on-one meetings, updating training records, and performance management using Power BI.
  • Manage daily security operations, ensuring optimal placement of security personnel across all posts to uphold site security while delivering exceptional customer service and professionalism.
  • Ensure that all Security Officers are fully informed of and comply with procedures related to security, health & safety, environmental standards, quality, and training requirements.
  • Act as the Incident Controller during on-site emergencies, coordinating with the security team and emergency services, and conducting thorough investigations into risks and incidents with detailed reporting for management review.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, refresher training, and security orientations for new employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the team remains well-informed and prepared.
  • Ensure all protective security systems are operational, manage access control (including card creation), and oversee the reporting and resolution of any system faults in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure all officers maintain the required uniform standards, participate in the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assist with project management tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • SIA Licence
  • 3+ years of experience in security
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or independent management experience
  • Dependable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective people management abilities
  • Capability to support colleagues under pressure
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of security operations and protocols
  • Adept at multitasking, planning, delegating, and prioritizing effectively.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
