About the Position

Become a vital member of our team as a Security Operations Supervisor, where you will be instrumental in safeguarding our premises. This role involves a flexible shift schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 nights on and 4 nights off, with 12-hour shifts, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. You will typically work 42 hours weekly, with potential for additional hours during peak times. Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate effective leadership by establishing and maintaining high standards of performance and conduct.
  • Inspire and direct your team, promoting clear ethical standards to achieve excellence.
  • Oversee team performance and development, including scheduling, leave management, absence tracking, payroll inquiries, one-on-one meetings, training updates, and performance assessments utilizing Power BI.
  • Manage daily security operations, ensuring the efficient deployment of security personnel across all locations to uphold site safety while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure all Security Officers are well-informed of and comply with security, health & safety, environmental, quality, and training protocols.
  • Act as the Incident Controller during emergencies, coordinating with the security team and emergency services, and conducting thorough investigations into incidents with detailed reporting for management review.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, refresher training, and security orientations for new staff, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the team is well-prepared.
  • Ensure all security systems are fully functional, manage access control (including card issuance), and oversee the reporting and resolution of any system issues in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure all officers maintain the required uniform standards, assist in the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and support project management with additional tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • SIA Licence
  • Minimum of 3 years in security roles
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or independent management experience
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in people management
  • Able to support colleagues in high-pressure situations
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations and protocols
  • Ability to multitask, plan, delegate, and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently
