Join our dedicated team as a Lead Support Worker within our Supported Living Service. This is a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to a high-quality care environment.

As a Lead Support Worker, you will report directly to the Registered Manager and play a crucial role in guiding the staff team, advocating for individuals, and ensuring that person-centered care is at the forefront of our services. Your leadership will empower our staff to carry out their responsibilities effectively, enabling them to provide exceptional support to those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates who are:

Dedicated to delivering outstanding care to individuals with mental health challenges, Autism, and Learning Disabilities. Competent in both written and verbal English, with a solid understanding of numeracy. Aware of equal opportunity issues and their implications for both employees and those we support. Capable of working autonomously, potentially taking full responsibility for a service area during shifts. Strong communicators, able to engage effectively at all levels.

The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

Ideally, candidates should possess a QCF level 3 qualification. If not currently qualified, you should be actively pursuing this qualification. Relevant experience in care is essential.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year in a care role (Required)
