About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at M&D Care. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our staff team and providing person-centered care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the staff team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of our service users, ensuring their care and support plans are implemented effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they meet the needs of our service users.
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent care and support.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • QCF Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, service users, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
