About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at M&D Care in Ebenezer Chapel, Swansea. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the staff team in providing person-centred care and support, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Advocate for individuals and support staff to perform their duties effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Work independently, taking sole responsibility for a service or work area during a shift, demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, building strong relationships with colleagues, individuals, and external partners.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in care, with a strong understanding of issues related to equal opportunities and their impact on employees and service users.
  • Proficient in written and reading English, with a good standard of numeracy.
  • QCF level 3 qualified or working towards, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
