Residential Services Manager

McCarthy Stone, a premier provider of retirement living solutions in the UK, is seeking a Residential Services Manager to oversee operations at our latest development.
This community features modern living spaces designed for individuals aged 60 and above, situated in a location that offers convenient access to essential amenities.
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available to accommodate personal commitments.
Compensation: Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package including a group personal pension, life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and flexible working arrangements in a serene environment.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused Residential Services Manager dedicated to upholding the high standards of service that McCarthy Stone is known for. This multifaceted role involves enhancing the quality of life for our residents while promoting their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome new residents and assist them in acclimating to their new homes.
- Deliver a professional front-of-house experience, ensuring all visitors are greeted warmly.
- Act as the primary contact for residents, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with partners and suppliers to ensure the estate operates smoothly.
- Represent McCarthy Stone to residents' families and friends.
- Address resident concerns with sensitivity, maintaining confidentiality and respect for privacy.
- Oversee the management of the estate's gardens and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
- Encourage social engagement among residents to enhance their retirement experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills with a proactive attitude.
- Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role.
- A professional demeanor with a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to thrive in a busy and varied work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- First aid qualifications are a plus, though training will be provided.
