We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Manager for our Children's Residential Services. This role involves overseeing the operations of our specialized children's homes, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment for young residents.
Key Responsibilities- Directly manage the daily operations of the residential facilities, focusing on the care, safety, and personal development of all young individuals.
- Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in childcare and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including social workers and families, to foster collaborative relationships that benefit the children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry standards and practices.
- Proven experience in managing residential services for children, particularly those with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Strong understanding of childcare standards and the ability to implement policies effectively.
- Relevant management training and qualifications in social care or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child protection laws and Ofsted requirements.
- Ability to demonstrate successful outcomes from previous inspections.
- Current DBS check is mandatory.
The salary for this position is competitive, with potential bonuses based on experience. A relocation package may also be available for the right candidate.
