Aftersales Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Business Development Coordinator to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in helping us grow our business by working closely with our Business Development Managers and Account Managers to develop new business opportunities within our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new revenue streams from new products and services, while optimizing income from existing lines within our existing customer base.
  • Book customer and prospect meetings for our Business Development Managers.
  • Prepare sales proposals and quotes using our existing templates as required by the customer or prospect.
  • Gather intelligence on our customers and competitors.
  • Generate leads for potential sales opportunities.
  • Conduct relentless follow-up of all sales opportunities and quotes.
  • Submit weekly KPIs and personal reviews for the prior week to our Line Manager by the end of each week.
  • Complete daily task lists.
  • Ensure our CRM system is up to date on a daily basis.
  • Act in accordance with our company's work ethic, standards, and protocol as outlined in our Company Manual.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer support skills with a proven track record in managing clients and winning orders.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated with a desire to close deals and achieve results.
  • Well-presented and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, even in difficult conversations.
  • Understanding of basic negotiation principles.
  • Able to identify customer needs and provide creative solutions.
  • Able to identify and capitalize on opportunities that provide solutions for the customer and additional revenue for the company.
  • Clear understanding of margin importance.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for the business and adapt to different ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with customers and within the business, to encourage customer confidence, improve customer satisfaction, and alleviate any unknowns.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £24,000-£28,000 basic
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm
