Senior Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to our Care Group management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial advisory services to Care Group management teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Trust's strategic objectives.
- Lead on financial planning and analysis, including the development of complex financial models and forecasts.
- Oversee the Trust's Vacancy Control process and provide financial expertise to Care Groups.
- Support the production of business cases and financial reports, including the preparation of financial action plans.
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner and Head of Financial Management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement efficiency schemes to improve financial performance and reduce costs.
- Line manage the Trainee Management Accountant, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in the role.

Requirements- CCAB qualified or finalist.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance-related field.
- Experience of working in a financial management function in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience with using different accounting software.
- Experience in preparing and analysing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Experience of leading a team.
