Network Open is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Vision Care Assistant to join our team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday and involves providing essential support in various care environments across Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting the Optometrist during vision assessments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to various care facilities
  • Supporting the Optometrist during examinations
  • Conducting comprehensive dispensing services
  • Providing aftercare and fittings for clients
  • Managing administrative tasks related to patient care

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the optical field
  • Strong clinical knowledge and exceptional dispensing abilities
  • Empathy and a compassionate approach to patient care
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to work within a team
  • A valid driving license with at least 2 years of driving experience
  • A passion for driving and engaging with clients in various locations
