We are seeking a driven Partnership Marketing Manager to spearhead the development and execution of sponsorship initiatives with our key partners. This role is pivotal in generating demand, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering awareness, as you collaborate with business leaders to design and implement impactful multi-channel partner marketing campaigns that significantly contribute to the sales pipeline.

This role is highly visible within the organization, engaging with senior technical, commercial, and marketing stakeholders from partner organizations to cultivate strong, productive relationships that enhance co-marketing efforts aimed at customer acquisition and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Activation:

  • Oversee daily account management of partners and stakeholders to ensure program success and maximize sponsorship benefits.
  • Collaborate with partners to create and implement sponsorship activation and campaign strategies (including program planning, campaign management, and promotional activities).
  • Identify new opportunities for co-marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives to boost brand recognition, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Manage the sponsorship deliverables of commercial agreements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Coordinate all marketing aspects of partnerships, ensuring high-quality materials and communications, addressing daily issues, and accurately documenting partnership activities.
  • Work closely with key internal teams, including sales, operations, and other marketing departments, to deliver comprehensive integrated campaigns.

Player Sponsorship:

  • Oversee the fulfillment of player contract obligations to promote the brands and products.
  • Act as the primary contact for marketing initiatives and activations involving professional players, which may include content requirements and product development.
  • Establish a robust framework to manage player responsibilities and demonstrate the value of these investments to the organization.
  • Maintain a strong industry presence by supporting activations across youth and player development programs.

Sponsorship Acquisition:

  • Assist in acquiring professional player and commercial sponsorships by supporting senior management in identifying, valuing, and negotiating potential sponsorship opportunities.
  • Drive collaborative go-to-market campaigns and launches of new partnerships to enhance awareness and adoption of our joint solutions.
  • Support the creation of communication materials for new partnerships that align both brands through cohesive messaging.

Reporting and Governance:

  • Utilize consumer insights, business data, and previous activity learnings to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner marketing initiatives and monitor campaign performance against defined metrics.
  • Analyze campaign data and provide insights to optimize future marketing efforts and maximize return on investment.
  • Conduct quarterly or bi-annual marketing reviews with strategic partners, presenting campaign performance and ROI while making recommendations for improvement.
  • Enhance and implement processes and best practices to ensure program success, measuring outcomes and sharing insights with key internal stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience in a Marketing or Partnership role, preferably within a sports-related environment or similar.
  • Proven track record in campaign-focused roles, with experience in campaign planning and sponsorship activation involving multiple partners.
  • Ability to engage with clients, partners, and team members at all levels, establishing credibility and trust.
  • Skilled in nurturing relationships within complex partner structures at various levels.
  • Results-oriented with a strong ability to plan and deliver against project timelines.
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Educated to degree level or possessing equivalent commercial experience.
