About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Care Navigator to join our team at UWE Frenchay Health Centre. As a key member of our reception team, you will be the first point of contact for our students and patients, providing support and guidance on choosing the right service at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system, ensuring efficient and effective management of patient bookings.
  • Process personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments, prioritizing urgent cases and directing patients accordingly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, being friendly and welcoming to all students and patients, and remaining calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Support clinical staff with general tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
  • Participate in in-house training and other training as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to practice protocols.
Person Specification
  • GCSE level or equivalent education.
  • Previous experience of working with people, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Desirable: experience in Primary Care.
