Role Overview:

Are you detail-oriented and customer-centric? As an Inventory and Sales Coordinator at 8Bits, you will be instrumental in overseeing our stock and supporting our sales personnel. Your duties will encompass managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring our store is attractively presented and efficiently operated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming stock shipments, ensuring precision and quality assurance.
  • Maintain inventory documentation and oversee stock levels to guarantee product availability.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, shelf arrangement, and product displays to uphold visual merchandising standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, guiding them to products, and processing transactions.
  • Support the sales team with various responsibilities, including preparing sales reports and conducting product analysis.
  • Assist with store operations, including opening and closing tasks, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to order new inventory as necessary.
  • Address any stock discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Work with team members to achieve sales objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high service standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in retail, inventory management, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Capability to manage physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A proactive and self-driven attitude with a robust work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
